New Year: there's no January 1, 2012
For the international watch and jewellery industry, the New Year will only be starting on March 8, 2012, when BASELWORLD, the World Watch and Jewellery Show, opens its doors to the specialist trade, as an established industry highlight. For a period of eight days, the key brands of the luxury goods sector will be presenting their innovations in Basel.

New building for BASELWORLD 2013: topmost point reached
After only four months' construction work, the steel structure for the building over Exhibition Square for BASELWORLD 2013 is now in place. The topmost point of the impressive hall complex has thus been reached. The building work is progressing on schedule.

BASELWORLD 2011 as the spectacular highlight of the global watch and jewellery industry

This year’s BASELWORLD will go down in history as a spectacular highlight. The World Watch and Jewellery Show closed its doors today after eight highly successful days. The exhibitors were particularly satisfied, with 103,200 visitors (+2.5% / 2010) and outstanding sales. The innovations and trends presented underlined BASELWORLD’s key global position as the leading show for the watch and jewellery industry.
