By public transport

The Basel region boasts a comprehensive network of public transport. Both trams and a large number of bus routes are available to take you rapidly and reliably to your desired destination - either within the city boundaries or beyond.

The tram pass (for tram and bus journeys in zones 10 and 11), which is valid for the full duration of the show, costs CHF 40.- and can be purchased at the BASELWORLD Shop on Messeplatz/Exhibition Square, at ticketing/cash in Building 2 and also at the Welcome Desk at SBB Railway Station.
Those staying at hotels in Basel can use the city’s public transport free of charge. You will be given your “Mobility Ticket” when you check in at your hotel.

Trams to BASELWORLD (alight at "Messeplatz/Exhibition Square"):
From "Basel SBB/SNCF" train station: tram No. 2 or 1 (an 8-minute ride)
From "Basel Badischer Bahnhof" train station: tram No. 2 or 6 (a 2-minute ride)
