A new hall complex is built onto Halle 5. Built in record time the «Hall of Universe» now hosts the national pavilions. BASELWORLD boasts 160,000 m2 of exhibition area, hosts over 89,000 visitors and continues to break records. |

Following the modernisation of and additions to other halls at BASELWORLD, the "Hall of Elements" is now being attractively redesigned to give it its own distinctive identity. It will feature a lavish exhibition platform, which for the first time in the "Hall of Elements" will allow multi-storey stands for the precious stone, diamond and pearls sector.

The new „First Avenue“ in the Hall of Visions is one of the highlights of BASELWORLD 2006 and represents a milestone in the development of the Watch and Jewellery Show. Thanks to infrastructure measures, multi-storey stands can now be erected in the Jewellery area for the first time.
