Rainbow, fireworks, crayons and flowering meadows: most of the things in which many nuances of colour meet one another express pure joie de vivre and spark feelings of happiness that are both spontaneous and long lasting. This positive effect can also be felt when we behold the latest pieces of jewellery: sometimes it’s the many little citrines, amethysts and topazes that swing cheerfully below the ears; sometimes the enthusiasm is kindled by a large number of variously coloured sapphires arranged closely side by side in a bracelet. In addition to these, colourful little handmade wristlets and metal chains with creative gradations of colour are “musts” this season.
The new “Essential Color Collection” from Picchiotti celebrates high-quality gemstones in vivid colours. The new lines feature a total of ten designs, including a ring with a green cushion-cut tourmaline flanked by two untreated amethysts.
The “Candy” wristlet in the Mikado Charm Bracelet series from Tamara Comolli is as tempting as a bagful of colourful candies. Each variety of coloured gemstone appears only once: a mandarin garnet, an amethyst, a peridot, a Swiss topaz, a pink tourmaline and a green tourmaline.
Cheer on the ear: the long earrings from Al Coro are crafted from 750 pink gold and each is adorned by two centrally set diamonds in the gold elements. Citrines, garnets, amethysts and topazes dangle from the little connective chain.
“Rainbow Paradise” is the name of the new collection from Swarovski for the spring and summer of 2018. Intensively gleaming and precisely cut Swarovski crystals are arranged in chromatic sequences, in monochrome combinations and/or in enchanting blocks of colour.
Let the summer begin! Chalcedony, moonstone and rose quartz polished into round shapes combine with impossible-to-overlook pastels to assure that the rings in the “Sara” series spark a sunny mood. From A.Odenwald and made of 750 white, yellow, and red gold.
As many as six Pantone colours, arranged in an inspiring sequence of hues, combine to create the chains in the new “Kunterbunt” line from Schofer. They are made possible thanks to acrylic and PVD coatings on the precious metals.
The new colourful bracelets in the “Life” collection from Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen are hand-knotted and symbolize the typically casual lifestyle that’s associated with this Danish brand. A hook of 750 gold secures each little wristlet.
