When Ole Mathiesen designed his first watch in 1962, he was inspired by the Danish design tradition, where form follows function. Each new design by Ole Mathiesen, has unique modern references to the distinctive Ole Mathiesen features in the endeavor to create perfect balance between classicism and modernism. The aim is to find perfect harmony between timely and timeless by creating exceptionally modern timepieces with clear references to the classic icon and the Ole Mathiesen heritage.
