Chronoswiss introduces the Flying Grand Regulator Skeleton – Limited Edition 2019

With the debut of the Flying Grand Regulator Skeleton – Limited Edition 2019, the Lucerne-based watch brand reaffirms its longstanding commitment to the traditional art and craft of skeletonizing. The plate, the bridges and the gears have been freed of all superfluous material and finely finished to showcase the full beauty of Chronoswiss’ manually wound calibre C. 677S.

The elimination of a dial in the conventional sense of the term offers fascinating insights into this horological Eldorado. A further finesse is the multidimensional architecture of the regulator display, which ranks among Chronoswiss’ acknowledged specialties. Along with signal-red hands, the eye-catching colour scheme also features a three-dimensional funnel-shaped hour scale that gleams in a brilliant orange-yellow hue for maximal contrast to the galvanic black elements.

The 44-millimetre-diameter stainless steel case likewise expresses Chronoswiss’ distinctive style with partial fluting and an onion-shaped crown. The Flying Grand Regulator Skeleton – Limited Edition 2019 is manufactured in a limited series of thirty exclusive timepieces.

Chronoswiss AG

Chronoswiss was founded in the middle of the quartz crisis, 1983, when only visionary pioneers believed in the survival of mechanical watches. Entrepreneurial spirit and ingenious inventions such as the transparent case back, the unique Chronoswiss design and the Regulator wristwatch lead to immediate success. After decades of the Regulator being the most successful model, the still independent watchmaker goes back to its origins and reinvents the Regulator watch for the 21st century.
