Basel is favourably located and is easily accessible by air, rail and car.

The international "EuroAirport" is only 10 minutes by car from the Baselworld show. Three different train stations in Basel provide direct connections to key European metropolises by high-speed trains.

Between the tightly-meshed public transport network in the Basel region and the exclusive Baselworld shuttle buses, you can enjoy complete and convenient freedom of travel.

The show venue can be reached conveniently and rapidly from two international airports. From EuroAirport Basel it takes just ten minutes by car and Zurich Airport is just under an hour away.
You will find a Baselworld Welcome Desk in both arrival halls.

To drive on Swiss motorways you require an annual motorway sticker ("Vignette"). This costs CHF 40.-  and can be obtained at border crossing points and post offices.

The Basel region boasts a comprehensive network of public transport. Both trams and a large number of bus routes are available to take you rapidly and reliably to your desired destination - either within the city boundaries or beyond.

The tram pass (for tram and bus journeys in zones 10 and 11), which is valid for the full duration of the show, costs CHF 40.- and can be purchased at the Baselworld Shop on Messeplatz/Exhibition Square, at ticketing/cash in Building 2 and also at the Welcome Desk at SBB Railway Station.

Visitors staying at hotels in Basel can use the city’s public transport free of charge. You will be given your “Mobility Ticket” when you check in at your hotel.
