Baselworld: Why should one look forward to Baselworld 2018 – what does Bvlgari hold in store?
Jean-Christophe Babin: Baselworld is always the moment for Bvlgari to introduce major novelties mirroring the brand’s central values: audacity and new design expressions but respecting our fundamentals. We love to break comfort zones, conventions, boundaries and habits so that Bvlgari is always introducing masterpieces during Baselworld which will become irresistible to customers as much as to our wholesale partners and expert influencers and medias. This is the case this year again. So anyone can expect to discover real outstanding creations which are trustful to these values both on women’s and men’s sides.
How do you prepare for Baselworld 2018?
Baselworld is always hectic for any watch or luxury company. Preparation starts several months before obviously since it is a big machine as Bvlgari is as well. Baselworld happens every year and as every year, the unexpected is always part of the process despite the intense preparation we implement. I must admit that I appreciate this side of the event. Out of that, it will be for us a concentrate of commercial and medias meetings with fully booked agendas: Bvlgari is one of the few top hot brands on the luxury market and as it appeals a lot.
What would you like to experience at Baselworld 2018?
I would like to experience again amazed and dreaming eyes when we are going to disclose our two major news!
