Baselworld maintains excellent rapport with Breitling

The Swiss luxury watch manufacturer Breitling has opted in favour of showcasing its brand within its own format in 2020 because of the late date of Baselworld. A return in 2021 is expressly not excluded. Tudor, on the other hand, will have its own stand from 2020.

SIHH and Baselworld to coordinate their dates from 2020

From 2020, the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva (SIHH) and Baselworld in Basel, the two major events in the watch industry, will synchronise their calendars. In 2020, the SIHH will be held from 26 to 29 April in Geneva, followed immediately by Baselworld from 30 April to 5 May in Basel. The calendars have been synchronised until 2024.

Baselworld presents its partner hotels

Baselworld presented its hotel partner programme today. A total of 40 hotels became partners of the world watch and jewellery show: 26 of the participating hotels are “Official Partners” and 14 of them are “Preferred Partners”. The participating hotels provide approximately two thirds of the hotel capacity in Basel and its surrounding area.

Baselworld 2019 with numerous new ideas and formats

Baselworld, the world’s most important trade show for watches, jewellery and gemstones, announces numerous innovations for 2019. The show’s organizers responded with regret to Swatch Group’s announcement of its intention to stay away from Baselworld 2019, but the show’s management contradicted the representation published yesterday in the Sunday edition of the NZZ, which claimed that the exhibitors had not been notified about the new concept.
