TAG Heuer’s Third-Generation Connected Watch
TAG Heuer was among the first to start the development of high-end wearable tech in 2015, working closely with Google and its Wear OS technology. This new collection is now the third-generation of the TAG Heuer Connected series and comes with a host of new sports apps that have been designed entirely in-house. The timepiece includes a GPS function, a new heart-rate monitor, and features tracking features for golf, running, cycling, walking, fitness, and more.
On the design side, the timepiece comes in a choice of a 45mm stainless steel or titanium case that includes the same signature facetted lugs as the brand’s mechanical timepieces. Everything about the design looks like a fine timepiece, from the polished and brushed finishes to the gradated ceramic bezel and crown.
The new collection was unveiled during a star-studded event at New York City’s Caldwell Factory by Frédéric Arnault, TAG Heuer’s Chief Strategy & Digital Officer, and Stéphane Bianchi, CEO of the LVMH Watch Making Division and CEO of TAG Heuer.
