Baselworld launches E-Concierge Service for exhibitors and visitors

With a focus on enhancing the visit experience for exhibitors and visitors and streamlining the processes, the Baselworld team has taken action by creating a centralised booking service covering hotels, flights, transfers and more that is transparent and competitive.

Last night, Michel Loris-Melikoff, Managing Director of Baselworld and his team reached a strategic agreement with the Basler Hotelier-Verein (Basel Hotel Association) that will allow Baselworld to create and implement an e-concierge service with focus on individual bookings as of the next edition in 2020. This online service is capable of processing, centralizing, advising, guiding and booking all requests for accommodation and stays that includes hotels, flights, as well as transfers and cultural excursions - for all individual and collective requests.

Whether a retailer wishes to book flights and transfers for staff, or an end-customer would like to plan his or her whole trip, a single, user-friendly contact point for all, at no extra cost, will be available online and by phone to provide all the help and information necessary to book stays, whether for a single night or for the whole week.

E-Concierge is available now directly for group reservations by contacting accommodationservices@baselworld.com, and as of November 2019, via the website www.baselworld.com for individual reservations.

What all attendees alike can expect are excellent service and time savings. With the implementation of this new support, Baselworld is initiating the change towards an enhanced show experience from 2020.
